Interesting work. Questions: (1) Do you use synthetic graphite powder or natural graphite?
(2) In your obtained hybrid material, it seems that the UV light is absorbed mainly on the graphite and not in ZnO. In this case, the effect of ZnO is not obtainable for UV sensing application. It might be useful to reduce largely the absorptive ability of graphite in the hybrid. I think 50% is too much.
(3) Do you have optical and electrical properties of synthesized ZnO? Other characterizations are necessary to verify the purity and quality of ZnO.
