About Bohol

The home of the famous Chocolate Hills, Bohol is one of the most visited destinations in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines. The island province offers breathtaking spots for history buffs, beach lovers, and adrenaline junkies. Bohol is comprised of one major island and 73 smaller ones surrounding it, so you’ll have plenty of places to explore during your trip here. One thing’s for sure: You’ll enjoy every second of your stay and love the diversity that Bohol offers. Click here to visit the Philippines.travel Website for more details.

How to get there

Tagbilaran City is linked by sea to the major port cities in the Visayas Islands and Mindanao. A fastcraft ferry ride several times daily from Cebu City’s Pier 1 takes approximately 2 hours depending on weather and sea conditions. Tagbilaran is served weekly by inter-island ferry from Cagayan de Oro,  Nasipit (via Jagna), and Bato, Leyte (via Ubay).

Bohol-Panglao International Airport is situated at the Panglao Island southwest of the city. It serves as the principal gateway airport to the rest of the province. Airlines using the airport serve primarily the Tagbilaran-Manila route, Tagbilaran-Clark route, and also Tagbilaran-Davao route. Flight time from Manila is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
